Nail Traps Found in Pasar Rebo are Starting to Decrease

Nail traps which are often found along Jl. Raya Bogor and Jl. TB Simatupang, Pasar Rebo Sub-district, East Jakarta have decreased. From nail sweeping operation carried out by Satpol PP and Transportation Sub-agency on Monday (11/1), only five nails and three sharp bolts were found on the road.

Pasar Rebo Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Muhammad Syarif mentioned, at the beginning of operation, his side found more than two ounces of nails, screws, and sharp tin shards.
"We carry out operation every day and number of nail trap obtained is decreasing," he stated.

Sometimes, they walked along Jl. TB Simatupang, from intersection of Jl. Raya Condet to Pasar Rebo intersection while pulling one-meter wooden pole attached to magnet.
"Until now, residents no longer complaint about nail trap. Hopefully, Pasar Rebo area can be sterile from nail trap. We will also carry out routine operation," he conveyed.
